Music has always been at the core of Wickham Guitar Repairs. Greg began playing guitar at age 7 – and has enjoyed playing ever since. In the 1990s, he toured as a backline roadie for iconic bands including Metallica, Faith No More, and Soundgarden, Later, he trained at the Australian Guitar Making School and spent years building and restoring instruments across NSW. In 2021, he helped establish Newcastle Guitar Repairs, and though offered a position with Maton Guitars in Melbourne, his heart remained with his local community in Newcastle.

Today, every guitar that passes through our bench is treated with the same care, precision, and respect for tone that only a lifetime in music can offer.
